Ok, with everything else going on this year, I’ll be the first to admit that I hadn’t realised that Bonfire Night is just around the corner. Normally I love this time of year, going to watch a local firework display with a hot chocolate and pie and peas – what could be better? Of course, as with many things, this year will be different and not just because we have a dog who hates loud noises!

The restrictions in place across the country will likely mean no public displays, and lead to many having their own (socially distanced) displays in their back garden. This year there will be plenty of people buying fireworks, who haven’t bought fireworks before – a firework retailer (and marketeer’s) dream. There’s a big opportunity for new business and many, like me, won’t have realised it yet. Having worked in radio for the majority of my career, it’s natural for me to see radio as the perfect avenue to take advantage of this opportunity. The fast turnaround on production of adverts, the high reach delivered cost effectively, and the creative way in which you can deliver your message makes it the perfect medium for this project. It’s a friend offering the listener comfort and an opportunity to enjoy a usual highlight of the year.

We love to work with businesses and build our relationships over time. Developing full marketing strategies which will not just see them through the next month, but through the next twelve months and beyond. That being said, we’re more than happy to help when an opportunity arises and you need to act quickly, but you just don’t know the best way to make the most of it.

Whether it’s a long-term strategy you’re after, or that quick fix, remember, remember that we can help you fulfil your objectives and get you where you want to be!

Bring in the Army!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who was pleased to see the back of 2020 – in fact, I know listening to Heart Radio they’ve built a whole giveaway around it!

Practice your putting…

For those of you that know me, you know I like my golf. I’ve played ever since my Dad got me into it as a kid and have loved it ever since. I was never one who took it seriously – who needs to practice a hobby, right? – but over the last couple of years I’ve found I actually really enjoy it and it helps me enjoy my rounds even more!
