I’m sure I’m not the only one who was pleased to see the back of 2020 – in fact, I know listening to Heart Radio they’ve built a whole giveaway around it!

For those of you that know me, you know I like my golf. I’ve played ever since my Dad got me into it as a kid and have loved it ever since. I was never one who took it seriously – who needs to practice a hobby, right? – but over the last couple of years I’ve found I actually really enjoy it and it helps me enjoy my rounds even more!

Lockdown 2.0 started in England yesterday. This means that for the next four weeks some of us will be back to spending more time with our families as we are advised to work from home if we can.

Today should have been my Wedding Day. It’s a weird feeling. It’s like a ‘Sliding Doors’ moment – you know exactly where the you without Covid would be, but you’re not, you’re somewhere completely different. I’m very lucky though, I’ve got a great fiancé and we both have great families and friends who’ve supported us and sent us wonderful gifts, for which we’re very grateful.

Ok, with everything else going on this year, I’ll be the first to admit that I hadn’t realised that Bonfire Night is just around the corner. Normally I love this time of year, going to watch a local firework display with a hot chocolate and pie and peas – what could be better? Of course, as with many things, this year will be different and not just because we have a dog who hates loud noises!
